After graduating from high school I was offered a job with my step- dad who was a general contractor transitioning into cabinets. I had taken two years of wood shop in high school and considering I had someone willing to teach me more I thought... sure why not? I had no idea I was choosing my future career that day.

When I first got into cabinets, it was hard for me to grasp all of the steps involved, it was quite overwhelming. I can still remember the first kitchen I worked on. The whole time I was trying to understand how all of the parts were going to come together to make a kitchen. When we went to install that job and I could slowly start to see it coming together I thought WOW!

Witnessing the homeowner's face light up with joy and amazement after that kitchen was installed is why I still build custom cabinets today. We gave them the kitchen they always wanted. We did that... I did that.

What I love about custom cabinets and finish carpentry is the challenge that comes with it. I've never had the feeling of getting stale in my work. What I've learned in 20 years in the trade is that the possibilities are endless. It's whatever the homeowner can dream up.

Now as a business owner, I'm excited to work directly with the customer. I'm here to help design and bring your ideas to life. My goal is to give you the product you want and one that you will love. It's the reason I'm in the business and how I was taught from the beginning.
